Payroll Manager

Our client, a company within the infrastructure and professional services sector, is seeking a part-time Payroll Manager to provide temporary payroll support and ensure compliance with specialized payroll reporting requirements. This role focuses on payroll processing, regulatory reporting, payroll audits, and maintaining accurate employee records while supporting ongoing payroll operations.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain recurring payroll activities for a multi-state workforce.
• Review historical payroll records and identify discrepancies or compliance issues.
• Prepare and submit required payroll-related reports in accordance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
• Ensure payroll practices align with applicable wage and labor requirements.
• Maintain accurate payroll documentation and records within company systems.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll questions and support ongoing operations.
• Assist with payroll compliance audits and reporting activities.
• Support payroll process improvements and data accuracy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Payroll management or payroll administration experience required.
• Experience with Dayforce, Workday, Oracle, or similar HRIS/payroll systems.
