Job Title: Event Staff Security

Reports to: Events Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

Bristol Motor Speedway is looking for enthusiastic, hardworking and guest service-oriented people to join the Security and Public Safety department. This is an event-time position meaning security staff will only work during events dependent upon staffing needs for each event. Compensation is based on qualifications.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL PREFERENCES:

• Conduct security inspections as directed

• Circulate among fans, visitors and employees to preserve order and protect property

• Stay on post as instructed
• Considerable communication and interpersonal skills
• Document all incidents for further investigation in the future

• 18 years of age or older.
• Currently affiliated in good standing with a law enforcement agency
• Friendly and personable, excellent customer service skills required
• A team player, must work well with others
• Previous security and public safety experience desired
• Leadership skills desired
• Some knowledge of general security standards helpful
