Main ResponsibilitiesCollects containers in various forms (size/weight) and delivers to designated HMG locationsMaintain, deliver and handle bank bags with cash and check deposits responsibly and deliver to ADMIN on schedule for daily bank depositsEnsure that all packages are properly secured/locked at all times in the vehicleSecure containers inside company vehicle by using straps, tie downs and/or rope to reduce shifting and damage in route to HMG locationsComplete all necessary paperwork for supply deliveriesClean inside of the company vehicle and perform routine pre‑trip inspectionsPick up mail at each satellite office and bring to mail room to be sorted, posted and mailedAssist with sorting and posting of mail as neededEnsure customer satisfaction and relay any concerns to managementAssist in maintaining the mailroom and keep in an orderly and clean mannerAssist Materials Management with special projects as neededBe a back up to receiving clerk as needed for delivery of mail and packages within central HMG locationExhibit professional, well groomed, neat appearance that is reflective of Holston Medical Group at all timesEducation / Experience / Knowledge / RequirementsA high school education or equivalent is requiredMust be at least 21 years of ageMust have a valid drivers license in the state he/she residesNo more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years (in any type of vehicle)No at fault accidents within the last 3 years (in any type of vehicle)No convictions of any of the following offences' (in any type of vehicle) in the past 7 years:Driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substanceLeaving the scene of an accident involving a commercial motor vehicleNo more than one excessive speeding (15 mph or more above the posted speed limit)Reckless drivingVehicular manslaughter or vehicular homicideEluding a police officerOperating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked licenseNo felony convictions of confinement or conviction of a criminal offencePhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Combination of walking, sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting. Must be able to lift and or move up to 60 pounds.
