If your answer is yes, apply today!Loader OperatorJob Type: Full TimeThe role of the Loader Operator is to be able to proficiently inventory, transport, and organize log poles, so they are readily available to transition to the different stages of the manufacturing process.Essential duties and ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the correct pole manufacturing processOrganize the pole yard areaSort and place materials by size, type, and productAssist with loading and unloading materials for customer ordersTransport materials and products to and from work areasParticipate in action planning processPerform basic maintenance as requiredMaintain a clean and safe environmentAll other duties assigned by supervisorAssist other operators as necessaryOrganizational RelationshipsReport to Yard SupervisorSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS2+ years heavy equipment experienceAbility to operate an articulating wheel loader with grappleUnderstand and follow oral or written instructions issued by supervisorsAbility to exert muscle force repeatedly or continuously over timeAbility to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legsPerform routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is neededAbility to work well as part of a teamAbility to complete daily reports as requiredUnderstand basic mathematical skillsUnderstand basic machine components and operationMust be able to lift 50+ lbs.SAFETYMust be able to follow all safety rules and regulationsWear all required personal protective equipment, i.e., hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and reflective wearReport immediately all accidents, near-misses, property damage, equipment damage, or unsafe conditionsUse proper lifting technique at all timesCOMPANY BENEFITSWe are excited about your interest in a lumber manufacturing career.
