Labcorp Phlebotomist Float – Johnson City, TN Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing. We are seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Johnson City, TN. Work schedule: Monday – Friday, hours vary 5:30am–5:30pm.Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.Process billing information and collect payments when required.Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.Maintain patient and specimen information logs.Provide superior customer service to all patients.Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent.Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist.Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.Strong communication skills – written & verbal.Ability to work independently or in a team environment.Comfortable working under minimal supervision.Flexibility to work overtime as needed.Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.Must be at least 21 years old.Benefits Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off or flexible time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan.
