What You Will Do:

  • Make unoccupied beds.

  • Clean resident equipment.

  • Clean residents' personal care and grooming items.

  • Maintain residents' closets, bedside stands, and drawers in a clean, orderly, and odor-free manner.

  • Label clothing and belongings.

  • Complete admission inventory of clothing and belongings.

  • Monitor and replenish resident care articles.

  • Answer call lights and assist with non-caregiving tasks (e.g., change TV channels, open windows, adjust items within reach, relay care requests to nursing staff).

  • Transport residents to meals and activities.

  • Assist with meal service, including passing trays, setting up meal trays, and picking up food trays.

  • Assist residents who cannot feed themselves, after being properly trained and checked off as a feeding assistant.

  • Provide ice water to residents every shift.

  • Supervise smoke breaks for supervised smokers.

  • Provide breaks and supervision to our secure unit.

What You Need:

  • High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent related work experience.

  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.

  • Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, coordinate, and simultaneously manage multiple projects with a high level of quality and productivity.
