Location: Offham, England. Sector: Building & Construction. Salary: £50,000.00 to £70,000.00 per annum.Position: Building Surveyor - Remote South West. Company Car or Car Allowance.We are currently working with a well-established and growing UK claims management and loss adjusting organisation that is expanding its regional surveying capability. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Building Surveyor to support the delivery of building repair projects arising from complex insurance claims. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Loss Adjusters across a varied portfolio of commercial and complex material damage claims, managing projects from initial scope through to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing Bills of Quantities and Schedules of WorkProject managing building repairs from instruction through to completionEnsuring CDM requirements are appropriately scoped and appliedPreparing tender documentation and inviting tenders from contractorsAnalysing tender returns and making recommendationsNegotiating variations and costs with contractorsPreparing interim valuations and managing project budgetsPreparing Party Wall notificationsProviding regular project updates to clients and other stakeholdersSupporting meetings and presentations with clientsMentoring and supporting junior colleagues where requiredAbout YouStrong experience within Building Surveying and Project ManagementKnowledge of CDM regulationsExperience preparing tenders, schedules of work, and managing contractorsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsThe ability to work independently while managing multiple projectsExperience dealing with insurance-related building claims such as fire, flood, subsidence or impact damage would be beneficial, but is not essential.What's on OfferFully remote workingCompany car or car allowanceOpportunity to work on complex and high-value claimsSupportive and collaborative working environmentCareer development within a well-established organisation operating across the UK#J-18808-Ljbffr
