We fondly refer to it as ‘Food to Feel Good' because we believe in savoring every bite whilst making a positive impact.Working Hours: 6am – 6pm, 6pm – 6am rotating days and nights.Type of Role: Full Time, PermanentSalary: (c.£53,000 per year) £24.38 per hourLocation: BristolResponsibilitiesPerform planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal line performance.Diagnose and resolve breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.Maintain product safety and quality by adhering to GMP and hygienic engineering standards.Promote sustainability and efficiency through responsible resource use and process improvements.Ensure systems remain compliant, audit‑ready, and aligned with regulatory and industry standards.Accurately document all maintenance activities in the CMMS and communicate effectively during shift handovers.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis to enhance reliability and performance.Support team development by sharing expertise and mentoring apprentices.Required Skills and ExperienceExperience in a similar role such as Engineering Shift Technician, Maintenance Engineer, etc.Relevant industry qualification, e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Ability to work as part of a team.Previous experience in a food environment is beneficial but not essential.Why Join The Compleat Food Group?At The Compleat Food Group, we're on a mission to create Food to Feel Good – delicious, high‑quality food that people love to eat.
