Job DescriptionBAE Systems is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead facility modernization and expansion projects at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant. As a Project Manager, you will deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while leading a cross‑functional team and communicating effectively with executive leadership and government customers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead cross‑functional teams to deliver ( Manage project finances, ensuring budget adherence and financial target achievement (Profit and Loss Management).Provide regular updates to executive leadership and government customers on project status, progress, and issues (Communication and Reporting).Oversee sub‑contractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements and quality standards are met (Sub‑contractor and Supplier Management).Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery (Project Planning and Control).Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure project success (Risk Management).Required Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution.Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience in Defense, Construction, or Oil/Gas/Chemical industries.Effective verbal and written communication with upper management and customers.Proficient in technical writing, such as proposal and statement of work development.Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.Preferred Education, Experience, & SkillsMaster's degree in a related field (preferred).Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA Level III Program Management certification (preferred).Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or similar tools (preferred).Experience with integrated master schedules using MS Project, Primavera, etc. (preferred).Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional teams (preferred).Attributes Of a Successful Project ManagerStrategic thinker with ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.Collaborative leader capable of leading and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.Effective communicator with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Results‑oriented with strong focus on delivering results and meeting project goals.Adaptable and flexible, able to adapt to changing project requirements.Pay InformationFull‑time salary range: $96,623 – $164,259.
