Overview The Sales Account Executive will focus on new local direct business and generate advertising revenue by calling on established clients, cold‑calling new prospects, building agency relationships, and convincing potential clients of the merits of digital and television advertising.Responsibilities Implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.Establish credible relationships with the local business community.Make sales calls on existing and prospective clients.Maintain assigned accounts and develop new accounts.Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients.Explain to customers how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible.Provide clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement in all media.Develop advertising schedules with clients and station personnel responsible for placing advertising into station media.Work with clients and station personnel to develop advertisements.Perform other duties as assigned.Work with clients to develop and execute digital forward go‑to‑market advertising strategies and tactics that result in meeting and exceeding campaign goals.Articulate benefits of various advertising platforms including Broadcast Television, Digital, OTT/CTV, Search and Social, and other emerging ad tech tactics and platform.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work‑related experience.Minimum one year's experience in sales, preferably in the media field.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Experience achieving long‑range objectives and implementing the strategies and actions to achieve them.Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.Company Information Nexstar Media Group, Inc.
