Job SummaryThe Inventory & Logistics Coordinator serves as the centralized logistics and inventory control authority for Facilities Management. This position ensures the accurate tracking, secure storage, and efficient distribution of tools, equipment, and materials in direct support of maintenance operations and capital projects.Operating within the university's TMA work order system, this role integrates inventory management with work order execution-ensuring that technicians are equipped with the right materials at the right time. The position emphasizes data integrity, process standardization, and operational efficiency, enabling Facilities to function with a high level of accountability and performance.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* Strong understanding of inventory control methodologies (FIFO, cycle counting, par levels)* Proficiency in data entry, inventory systems, and spreadsheets (Excel or equivalent)* Working knowledge of CMMS platforms (TMA preferred)* High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and "clean data" principles* Strong organizational and time management skills* Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, supervisors, and vendors* Problem-solving mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and service delivery* Order fulfillment time for technicians* Shrinkage/loss reductionRequired Qualifications* High school diploma and equivalent and two to four (2-4) years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.* Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as TMA (or similar platforms).OR* A combination of education and work experience.Preferred Qualifications* Associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field.* Experience in a facilities management, construction, or maintenance environment.* Familiarity with trade materials (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general maintenance).* Experience integrating inventory systems with work order management platforms.* Certification in inventory or supply chain management (e.g., APICS/CPIM).Compensation & Benefits* Job Family - Operations Specialist 3* Market Range - 4 (Salary Schedules)* For information on benefits, please visit www.etsu.edu/human-resources/benefits/.Application Instructions* Non- exempt positions are only required to be posted for a minimum of five (5) calendar days.
