Summary

Shipping and Receiving Supervisor is responsible for the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments, creating shipping documents, labeling shipments, maintaining records in NetSuite/ OpenDock and utilizing various other tech driven efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving Goods:
• Check incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy.
• Document any discrepancies on the BOL.
• Document damaged material and report to Quality Control.

• Shipping Orders:
• Generate picking and packing documents according to customer specifications.
• Generate shipping labels for ASN'S and apply to pallets.
• Fulfill orders in NetSuite.
• Check drivers in (validate pick up number) and assign trucks to docks via Yard Management application.
• Utilize tech automation to drive efficiencies with truck flow. MUST be very proficient with technology.
• Generate digital BOL's for driver signature.
• Other Duties:
• Utilizing technology will be a core function in this role.
• Communicate with internal departments regarding shipping or receiving statuses.

• Skills and Qualifications:
• 3-5 + years of Supervisor experience in Shipping/Receiving.
• Strong computer proficiencies and experience with different tech interfaces.
• Shows great willingness to adapt to new rollouts & changes.
• Great communication and organizational skills.
• Shows great ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
