You will interact with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals throughout North Carolina, Tennessee, the U.S. and internationally, and will provide leadership and client development for a wide range of environmental engineering and consulting projects to supplement our existing environmental due diligence, compliance, brownfields redevelopment, vapor intrusion, and remediation services. Advancement is based on an individual's own performance and initiative.Education and LicensureBachelor's degree in environmental science, chemistry, earth science (geology or hydrology), environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, or a related field of study (required)Advanced degree in a related field of study (preferred)Professional registration (e.g. P.G. or P.E.) (preferred)Skills, Experience and QualificationsMinimum of 8 years (10+ years preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience, preferably in the Tennessee marketplaces, or equivalent combination of education and experience (required)A strong track record in business development, including proposals leadership, and stewarding and building client relationships with repeat business (required)Understanding of Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) guidance documents and risk evaluation resources (preferred)Experience planning and overseeing multi‑media field work, including soil, groundwater, soil vapor, and indoor air investigations (preferred)Experience with environmental due diligence and regulatory compliance projects (preferred)Experience with environmental assessment tools and techniques and remedial technologies (preferred)Ability to succeed in a fast‑paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed (required)Experience managing the overall delivery of projects including project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management (required)Excellent writing and communication skills (required)Experience with Microsoft Office products (required)Ability to make presentations at industrial conferences and at client meetings (required)Current OSHA 40‑hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers (preferred)Field work and overnight travel may be requiredHealth & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client‑driven drug and background testing may be requiredValid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)#J-18808-Ljbffr
