Accounts Payable Clerk (Part-Time)State of Franklin Healthcare Associates is a physician-led and team-member-owned multi-specialty care group headquartered in Johnson City, TN with locations in the upper East Tennessee & Southwest Virginia region. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of our patients and our team members.Primary Responsibilities:Prints invoices from vendor websites.Opens/Processes mail.Checks invoices and check requests for proper coding and signatures.Matches invoices in the ENVI system with received POs.Selects accounts payable invoices for payment based on vendor policies and terms.Prints and attaches checks to back-up paperwork.Makes payments online to various vendors.Distributes checks through the inter-company mail, US Postal Service, and/or FedEx.Excel spreadsheets for reportingUpdates/Maintains vendor files.Reconciles vendor statements.Prepares 1099s.Prepares Sales and Use Tax Returns.Copies invoices for prepaid, assets, and work in progress.Compiles information and prepares reports.Requirements:Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED. Some college-level accounting coursework is preferred.Experience:Three years of experience with accounts payable including one year of accounting experience in a health care organization.
