Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Ice Cream Maker/Cook to join our team at Grace Meadows Farm Creamery in Jonesborough, TN. This on-site role involves producing fresh, hand-crafted ice cream for our Creamery, preparing high-quality menu items for guests, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently. Primary responsibilities include measuring and combining ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and contributing to the overall culinary experience of our offerings.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation, including measuring, mixing, and cooking techniques
• Knowledge of creating high-quality ice cream or similar desserts
• Ability to operate and maintain kitchen and dairy equipment
• Attention to detail to ensure adherence to recipes and food safety standards
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
• Passion for food and hospitality with a focus on exceptional guest experiences
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Two years minimum previous food service or culinary experience required
• Ability to work on-site in Jonesborough, TN
• Serve Safe Certification required
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, carry, stand for long periods of time
• Willingness to work most Saturdays and some evenings
