Dental Patient Services Representative

Description:

Mountain Community Health Partnership is seeking a full time Dental Patient Services Representative (DPSR). This frontline role is essential in creating a positive first impression for our patients and ensuring that each visit is efficient, welcoming, and compassionate. The DPSR supports the daily operations of the front office, including patient check-in/out, appointment coordination, insurance verification, referral management, and excellent customer service. This position works closely with dental staff, patients, and external partners to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients, check them in, and update demographics/insurance information.
  • Provide and collect required forms and scan documents into patient chart.
  • Verify dental insurance and perform eligibility checks.
  • Post co-pays, print receipts, and assist patients with sliding fee eligibility.
  • Schedule dental, hygiene, and referral appointments; confirming upcoming visits.
  • Support School-Based Oral Health scheduling.
  • Manage incoming calls, mail, and record requests.
  • Maintain front office cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
  • Provider outstanding customer service and ensure patient confidentiality.
Qualification:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior dental front office experience, preferred. Bilingual, preferred.
  • Basic computer and typing skills; familiarity with dental terminology.
