Purpose of Job

The purpose of this classification is to take food and beverage orders, prepare orders and charge patrons for purchase at golf course snack bar. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Essential Functions

The Snack Bar Assistant is responsible for the following essential functions:

• Prepares various food orders; including frying, grilling and assembling.
• Takes food and beverage orders, alcohol beverages are served, prepares orders, and changes patrons for purchases.
• Cleans snack bar area and clubhouse rest rooms on a daily basis.
• Maintains stock levels in storage area.
• Ensure regular, punctual attendance during scheduled work hours
• Occasionally operates beverage cart throughout the golf course.
• Responds to and reports immediately if called upon by local regional or central office supervisors, as part of a coordinated emergency response by the Knox County Mayor's Office
• Perform other duties as required

Minimum Training & Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• A Top Shelf certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to focus and demonstrate great attention to detail
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Excellent customer service skills
