Position Overview:

As a Salaried Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be an integral member of our management team, responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure high customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You will assist in team leadership, maintain quality control, manage financial performance, and cultivate a safe, clean, and efficient environment for both guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & Staff Management:
    • Lead, motivate, and develop a capable team, including Shift Supervisors and Team Members.
    • Recruit, train, and onboard new staff, ensuring they understand their duties and the company's high standards.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for staff development.
    • Develop employee schedules to ensure effective staffing during busy and quiet times.
    • Manage staff-related issues diplomatically to maintain a positive workplace culture.
  2. Customer Service & Guest Relations:
    • Uphold the highest standards of customer satisfaction by maintaining service quality and promptly addressing any guest concerns.
    • Ensure that every customer enjoys a positive and memorable dining experience.
    • Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty and effectively address any service issues.
  3. Operational Management:
    • Oversee day-to-day restaurant functions to ensure a fully stocked, clean, and efficient operation.
    • Ensure food is prepared according to Wendy's quality standards and served promptly.
    • Monitor restaurant performance, focusing on service speed, food quality, and overall effectiveness.
    • Enforce company policies regarding health, safety, and food quality.
    • Analyze operational reports (sales, labor, inventory) to achieve performance goals.
  4. Financial Management:
    • Manage expenses related to labor, food, and inventory while maintaining quality and service standards.
    • Evaluate financial reports to track revenue and apply cost-control strategies.
    • Oversee cash management, including daily cash handling and deposits.
    • Explore sales enhancement strategies to boost average check sizes and customer return rates.
  5. Inventory & Supply Management:
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient supplies of food, beverages, and necessary items.
    • Coordinate supplies ordering and delivery to avoid shortages.
    • Conduct inventory audits and resolve discrepancies, reporting issues to management.
  6. Health & Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations, including food safety.
    • Conduct regular sanitation inspections to comply with cleanliness standards.
    • Train employees on proper food safety and sanitation practices.
  7. Marketing & Community Engagement:
    • Involve in local marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and attract new customers.
    • Engage with customers to solicit feedback that can improve their dining experience.
  8. Problem Solving & Decision Making:
    • Quickly address operational challenges, guest complaints, and staffing issues.
    • Make crucial decisions regarding staffing and customer service during shifts.
    • Identify and implement improvements to boost restaurant performance.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in management within the restaurant or hospitality sector, particularly in fast-casual or quick-service settings.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to develop teams, manage performance, and create a positive environment.
  • Customer Service: Strong skills in managing customer relationships and resolving complaints.
  • Financial Skills: Competence in budget management, cost control, and achieving financial objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Quick and effective resolution of operational and guest-related challenges.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for diverse interactions.
  • Organization: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while ensuring smooth operations.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulousness regarding food quality, sanitation, and health standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (4-8+ hours) with breaks.
  • Perform repetitive motions, actively using hands and arms.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching in various tasks.
