SUMMARY

Loads, unloads, ships, receives and moves materials within or near plant by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Uses computer, tablet and/or completes paperwork in order to enter and track information on items shipped, received or moved to or from inventory.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places order on pallet, stretch wraps the order and marks material with identifying information and/or shipping labels.
• Posts weights and shipping charges and affixes proper labels.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
• Operates various material handling and packing equipment.
• Assemble, process and ship customer orders.
• Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, trays and shelves by hand or with hand jack or fork truck.
• Operates scales, use tare weights and verify inventory.
• Cleans work area and other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School education or equivalent
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Team Player

Wage and Benefits

• Wage starts at $19.89 with increases every 6 months as you move up the wage scale.
• Shift differential - $1.50 for 2nd Shift.
• $2000 Retention Bonus - $500 at 90 days, $500 at 180 days, and $1000 at 365 days of employment.
