Warehouse Operations – Shipping & ReceivingLocation:Johnson City, TNPay Rate:$17.50/hrEmployment Type:Temp-to-HireShift:1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PMInterviews:In-personDrug Test:RequiredPPE:Steel-toed shoes requiredPOSITION SUMMARYThe Shipping & Receiving Representative supports daily warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, inventory tracking, and returns processing. This role ensures accuracy, safety, and compliance while maintaining an organized warehouse environment.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESShipping & ReceivingReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slipsPrepare, package, label, palletize, and ship outgoing orders accurately and safelyLoad and unload shipments using proper equipment and safety proceduresProcess returned products and document per company guidelinesEnter received inventory into warehouse database systemsHandle medical supply/products and place inventory in designated warehouse locationsOrder FulfillmentPick, pack, seal, label, and prepare customer orders for shipmentUse scanners, hand tools, and warehouse software for order processingInventory ControlMaintain organized storage of products and pallet areasIdentify and report inventory discrepanciesWarehouse SupportMaintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse, quarantine areas, and pallet zonesOperate pallet jacks, rolling stairs, scanners, hand trucks, and step ladders safelyFollow OSHA, safety, and company policies at all timesAdministrative SupportPerform data entry, recordkeeping, and communication tracking as neededQUALIFICATIONSEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredExperience1–2 years of warehouse, shipping & receiving, or distribution experience requiredSkillsIntermediate math skills (percentages, proportions)Ability to follow written and verbal instructionsBasic computer skills (Word, Excel, database systems)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and reachingAbility to climb step ladders and operate warehouse equipmentFrequent use of packing tools (tape gun, box cutter, stapler, scanners)WORK ENVIRONMENTTemperature-controlled warehouse environmentModerate noise levelMinimal exposure to hazards when following safety proceduresIf you are interested, please reach out to Chin Yang at A-Line Staffing.586-###-####|...@alinestaffing.com
