Tech Lead C# - Remote - EU

  2026-02-07     Cloudmore     all cities,AK
Description:

Technical Lead

Cloudmore is on a mission to forever change how products and services are sold, bought, and consumed. We help B2B companies create, market, sell, and manage their offers online. Being a SaaS company in a scale-up stage, it is your chance to be part of our incredible journey to reaching new heights.

Cloudmore has hubs in Sweden and Northern Ireland, and the central engineering hub is located in Estonia. A considerable part of engineering is already working remotely, so you will be fully enabled to do your work from day one.

Who We Are Looking For

Currently we are looking to hire a Technical Lead residing in the European Union to work remotely (we consider Senior Engineers looking for a new challenge as well). At first you'll be managing a small team consisting of software and QA engineers.

We are using Employer of Record services, so you will be officially employed by a local entity (we do not support B2B contracts). As a remote cloudmorian, you will get a computer and a budget for your work-from-home setup.

Skillset of an ideal candidate:

  • Desire to help and mentor others, improve engineering culture, and proactively improve engineering.
  • Strong understanding of the .NET ecosystem and C# fundamentals.
  • Solid grasp of asynchronous programming and multithreading.
  • Hands-on experience with backend development in modern architectures: CI/CD pipelines, microservices, REST APIs, event-driven communication, and Protobuf.
  • Experience working in a software company, Git version control, ticket systems, Scrum, or other methodologies.
  • Nice to have exposure to Blazor, WebForms, or other frontend frameworks.

We encourage you to apply even if you have a different experience.

Why Cloudmore?

We are constantly working to ensure that our employees have interesting challenges, space to grow, and proper support.

To be more specific, we have plenty of complicated green- and brownfield projects to work on. Even the most junior engineers can own specific areas and lead tiger teams. We have dedicated time for self-improvement, technical debt reduction, and other engineering initiatives that anyone is free to propose and take. You can always get help from your coworkers, lead architect, and quality and architecture guilds.

What Will You Be Doing?

This role is focused on technical ownership, so you do NOT need to perform 1:1s, performance reviews, and other duties of a line manager. You are expected to organize and mentor your team, collaborate tightly with the product managers and other teams, and be responsible for delivery velocity and code quality. You're expected to work as an individual contributor as well.

Technology stack:

  • AppServices and K8S hosted in Azure
  • C# (.NET framework and .NET core)
  • ASP.NET Core
  • MSSQL and PostgreSQL
  • gRPC and Protobuf
  • GitHub Actions
  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS
What Is The Hiring Process Going To Look Like?

We aim to make our hiring process transparent and short. Your honesty and motivation are more important than your knowledge of the specific technologies.

Interviews:

  • 30-45m: Screening interview with our Engineering People Partner with several technical questions.
  • 2h: Technical interview with our Head of Engineering and an engineer.
  • 2h: Architecture interview with our Lead Architect and an engineer.

Chats:

  • 30m: Meeting our Head of Engineering if you haven't yet.
  • 30m: Meeting our CEO.

When you're hired, you will have an on-site onboarding trip to one of our hubs (we will pay for tickets, per diem, and accommodation for your trip).
