Summary:
The Associate, Investments will support the evaluation, execution, and ongoing management of investments across Archwell's diversified portfolio, with a primary emphasis on real estate. This role integrates investment underwriting, asset management, and portfolio-level financial planning and analysis (FP&A). The Associate will contribute to transaction execution, financial modeling, due diligence, and performance monitoring of existing and prospective investments.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate potential investment opportunities across real estate and other asset classes
- Support all phases of transaction due diligence, including review of third-party reports, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and financing documentation
- Prepare and maintain detailed underwriting models and cash flow projections for prospective investments
- Develop and maintain financial models for existing assets and new investment opportunities
- Prepare annual operating budgets and perform monthly budget-to-actual variance analyses
- Partner with accounting to produce accurate managerial and portfolio-level financial reporting
- Monitor property-level operating performance and key performance indicators
- Assist in identifying revenue enhancement initiatives, cost management strategies, and capital expenditure planning to support value creation
- Support ongoing asset management efforts to optimize performance and returns
- Serve as a point of coordination between internal management and external parties, including third-party property managers, lenders, legal counsel, and other vendors
- Assist with preparation of internal reporting and investment-related presentations
- Complete ad hoc analyses and special projects related to broader portfolio strategy, including non-real estate investments and M&A activities
- Collaborate with analysts and other team members to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent execution of responsibilities
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 4-7 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or a related field. Background in real estate is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of valuation fundamentals, capital markets, and transaction processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Preferred but not required:
- Experience in real estate investment, asset management, or real estate private equity
- Experience with FP&A and portfolio-level reporting
