The State of Wisconsin is seeking an Application Architect II - System Administration and Support.
Candidate must be a CURRENT WI resident. No relocation allowed.
This position functions as an Application Architect for the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) initiatives of the Department of Corrections (DOC). Under the general supervision of the Collaboration and Project Management supervisor, this position will provide leadership and direction to the Collaboration and Project Management and Infrastructure staff on the design of development of ITIL systems and solutions involving service management, change management, configuration management, and asset management.
The position will be a member of the application development team, troubleshooting issues as they arise to ensure effective ITIL system solutions along with associated application technology for the Department of Corrections (DOC).
The individual will work closely with the functional user groups within DOC to ensure effectiveness of system solutions deployed.
This position will review detailed systems specifications to ensure the development and support of new systems and enhancement of existing systems is consistent with agency development and support methodologies, standards, and policies. This position also works closely with the Secretary's Office staff in administrating and developing for their legal software.
