Job Description

The role of the Development Associate, Corporate Partnerships is to develop and manage relationships with corporations and organizations that support the Kaleida Health Foundation and the Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation. A key aspect of this role will be the management of the relationship between Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo (formerly Oishei Children's Hospital) and the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) to grow revenue from this essential partnership. CMN is a national fundraising platform which connects local children's hospitals to global corporate brands, such as Walmart, Dairy Queen, Speedway, 7-Eleven, Ace Hardware and more, to secure essential fundraising support through point of sales programs, peer-to peer fundraising, events and employee engagement campaigns. The Development Associate will work collaboratively with Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo's assigned CMN national representative and local representatives for CMN corporate partners to support their fundraising campaigns and engage them with the hospital and the impact of their support. The Development Associate will also oversee and grow the CMN national programs Extra Life and Play Yellow. In addition to managing the CMN relationship on behalf of the Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation, the Development Associate will work with the Manager of Corporate Partnerships to grow the Corporate Champions program at Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo and scale this successful template across the Kaleida Health system. This includes recruiting new corporate and organizational partners as well as stewarding existing relationships to maximize philanthropic opportunities by engaging corporate leaders, corporate philanthropy decision-makers and employees with the missions of the hospitals and health system, and demonstrating philanthropic impact in a meaningful way.

Education And Credentials

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or similar required. Master's degree in Business preferred.

Experience

3 to 5 years of experience in Successful and extensive relationship building experience in a fundraising, sales or business development capacity required. 3 to 5 years of experience in Accomplishment with revenue generation and meeting or exceeding quantitative key performance indicators such as sales or fundraising dollars required. Corporate Fundraising, Peer-to-Peer Fundraising, Event Coordination, Capital and/or Annual Campaigns, and Raiser's Edge preferred.
