Notes From Manager / Required Skills & Exp.:

  • Candidates will be part of a large-scale transformation project, working to document business requirements and future-state process flows to guide the creation of test scripts for system implementation.
  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience in documenting business requirements for projects of a similar nature, with some prior Banking Servicing and/or Operations experience (e.g. experience with the business domain).
  • Candidates with AFSVision experience are desired - other similar platform experience (e.g. LoanIQ, Client) will also be helpful.

Skill Set 1: Experience in documenting business requirements/processes, functional specs, and/or test cases
Skill Set 2: Experience working on large-scale projects (e.g. system migrations, business transformation)
Skill Set 3: Experience with Loan Servicing operations and/or technology (i.e. AFSVision, LoanIQ, Client)

Overview:
  • Provides high level analytical support in the design, development, and communication of long-term strategies in pursuit of business goals.
  • Works closely with business and functional experts from other teams; convenes teams to accomplish goals. Influences peers on surrounding teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support planning and implementation of new projects, products, programs and initiatives to achieve short and long-term business objectives and strategic outcomes. Lead effort to maintain project documentation. Develop comprehensive documentation that aligns with regulatory expectations as required.
  • Assists the team in addressing problems/solutions, risks and issues. Analyzes information, determining feasible solutions, articulating recommendations to project team. Apply critical thinking to independently navigate problems/issues.
  • Develop and produce basic ad hoc and automated departmental analyses and reports (incl. workflow analysis, project analysis, trend reporting, strategic analysis, other). Ability to distill information and create an executive summary to drive action.
  • Adhere to all standards and procedures ensuring high quality work and that efforts are appropriately and accurately documented.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.
