Job Description

The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production goals and supporting key product offerings, including Benefit/Network/Formulary Design, e-Prescribe, Claims Processing, Integrated Product Solutions, and Consumer Directed Health Plans. This role encompasses talent management, maintaining processes and procedures, and serving as first tier support for escalated issues. The position also provides project support for new and existing clients, including contributions to clinical program initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, prioritize, and delegate tasks across the Benefit Configuration team, providing clear direction, setting measurable performance expectations, and fostering talent development

• Monitor and oversee team workload, capacity, quality metrics, cost, and efficiency to ensure compliance with performance guarantees, turnaround times, and internal/external service levels; manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate client support

• Serve as first-tier support to internal and external stakeholders through research, project leadership, implementation support, and audit participation; address and resolve escalated client issues and inquiries to deliver effective solutions

• Execute talent management responsibilities, including goal setting, performance reviews, feedback, disciplinary actions, development planning, and training

• Manage and facilitate timely responses to audits, disputes, trend analyses, turnaround time reconciliations, quality initiatives, and process improvement opportunities

• Maintain and update operational documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Desktop Procedures (DTPs), training manuals, and related tools

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required

• 3 years of work experience in operations management, pharmacy benefit management, healthcare, insurance, retail, analytics, or operational compliance

Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously under tight timelines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to quickly learn and apply other business systems and tools

• Ability to identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Knowledge of and ability to prepare documentation, reports, or SOPs to support operational consistency

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience

• Previous Pharmacy Technician, health care, or program management experience in a healthcare setting

• Experience delivering products under regulatory or accrediting agencies

• Experience with ePrescribing, Consumer Directed Health Plans, or Benefit Edit Tools

Potential pay for this position ranges from $74,000.00 - $118,000.00 based on experience and skills.
