Job Summary

Preferred Care at Home is looking for an office assistant to join our growing team! The right candidate will be organized, have excellent interpersonal skills, and have a background in customer service with scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Oversee and maintain staff/client scheduling.
  • Work as a team member with all company departments in a collaborative effort.
  • Assist the Director with any necessary administrative tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail with the ability to be highly organized and focused to complete tasks.
  • Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and exercise discretion.
  • Adheres to policies and procedures and is flexible to changes in duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years customer service experience (required)
  • Proficient in internet-based applications, typing, and Microsoft Office (required)
  • 1+ years experience in scheduling (preferred)
  • 1+ years experience in home care/home health (preferred)
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills
