Become a vital part of the effort to tackle some of the world's most pressing challenges. As a Chemical Operations Expert, you will be instrumental in supporting national disaster relief initiatives and enhancing protection against chemical and biological threats.

In this role, you will receive comprehensive training to skillfully operate nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) detection and decontamination tools. You will aid in executing NBC defense protocols, collaborate seamlessly with civilian teams during crises, and help uphold disaster response strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training and support regarding CBRN equipment and operational procedures.

Skills You'll Develop:

  • Proficient operation of CBRN decontamination, defense, detection, and monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of and competency with protective gear.
  • Hazardous Material Certification (awareness level).
  • Experience handling toxic substances while utilizing CBRN protective equipment.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Interest in subjects like algebra, chemistry, physics, and geometry.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Your training will provide you with transferable skills valuable in various civilian careers, including chemistry, chemical engineering, and hazardous waste management.

Earn While You Learn: Get compensated for your training instead of paying for it! In this position, you will gain critical skills while receiving a steady paycheck and qualifying for educational assistance.

Following an initial 10 weeks of Basic Training, you will participate in 11 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT), offering a blend of hands-on experience and classroom learning focused on NBC warfare and emergency response.

Requirements:
