Position: Production Support/ Warehouse Associate

Location: Johnson City, TN

Duration: Contract

Shift Time: Distribution Department 1st shift (M-F, 9 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.)

Pay Rate: $8.58/hr

Responsibilities

• Accurately record data on and inspect DHR for accuracy and completeness.
• Report daily production and scrap.
• Cleans equipment and workstation at the end of each shift and as needed.
• Maintain great attention to detail; work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Assimilate and apply new job-related information promptly; actively participate as a member of a team; maintain high levels of activity or productivity while accurately checking processes and tasks; adjust effectively to changes in work structures, processes, or requirements.
• Effectively manage time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• No previous experience necessary.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Proficiency in email and internet software.

Physical Demands

• Infrequent - walking, climbing or balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, speaking and hearing.
• Frequent - sitting, use of hands and fingers to handle and feel as well as manual dexterity/repetitive finger motion, reaching with hands and arms.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.

Work Environment

• Associate will work in a moderately loud environment on machinery with moving parts.
• Safety equipment mandatory.

Additional Information

Personnel must be able to pass drug screening and background check.
