UWMedicine - Northwest Hospital has an outstanding opportunity for a Supply Chain Technician 2.

WORK SCHEDULE

40 hrs/week

Day Shift

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

UW Medicine Supply Chain Management enhances our patient care experience by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

Maintain an appropriate level of general, medical, and surgical supplies throughout the facility by utilizing effective stocking procedures

This position reports to the local Supply Chain Materials & Logistics Supervisor/Manager

Support patient care at this 281-bed, community-based nonprofit hospital in North Seattle

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining adequate stock and distributing general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital

Manage rental equipment using Supply Chain point-of-use (POU) systems

Use tech like handhelds, package scanners, and Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) to ensure proper inventory and cost allocations

REQUIREMENTS

High school graduation AND 6 months of supply chain experience

OR

Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the minimum job requirements

$21.62 hourly
