We are seeking a California attorney with 2-8 years of experience for our plaintiff-side consumer finance practice.

Plaintiff side experience is highly valued, as you'd be negotiating settlements and managing your own docket of matters. FCRA experience is a major plus.

This position is remote/hybrid. We have offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco, but the majority of the team works remotely.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
Manage your own docket of cases with a results-driven approach
• Take ownership of written discovery and dispositive motions (drafting, responding, reviewing) under direction from our Director of Litigation
Drafting of complaints and management of filings along with our paralegal/admin team
• Management of calendaring and deadlines for your own matters,
• Ample court appearances and deposition opportunities
• Participate in client meetings, litigation strategy sessions, and court prep
• Achieve results through settlement negotiations and mediations
• Engage with meaningful consumer justice work in finance, credit reporting, fraud, and multi-plaintiff complex litigations (class actions & mass arbitrations)

Qualifications

• Previous plaintiff-side litigation experience is highly valued, especially FCRA
• Familiarity with technology platforms, such as AI
Sales experience is a plus, as you'll be negotiating settlements
• Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
• Candidates must have passed the bar exam
• Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients
