We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our our client in Surgoinsville! The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks, to facilitate efficient materials handling, shipping, and receiving processes. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth workflow and maintain high safety standards. Day shift: 6: 45 AM to 7: 00 PM Rotating schedule $16.00 per hour-paid weekly Duties: Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to load and unload materials Pick and pack orders accurately Transport materials within the warehouse, including stacking pallets and organizing inventory Assist with shipping and receiving functions, ensuring proper documentation and labeling Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards Support warehouse management with materials handling tasks such as load & unload operations and order picking Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues when necessary Follow safety procedures diligently during heavy lifting and operation of construction-related machinery Qualifications: Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related fields such as shipping & receiving Must have valid driver license Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and materials handling procedures Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting on heavy equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Prior experience in warehouse supervisor roles or order picker operations is a plus Excellent attention to detail for order picking and inventory management Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive lifting tasks Apply at: www.Atwork.Com/greeneville 1017 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville TN 423-###-####
