We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our our client in Surgoinsville! The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks, to facilitate efficient materials handling, shipping, and receiving processes. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth workflow and maintain high safety standards.Day shift: 6: 45 AM to 7: 00 PMRotating schedule$16.00 per hour-paid weeklyDuties:Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to load and unload materialsPick and pack orders accuratelyTransport materials within the warehouse, including stacking pallets and organizing inventoryAssist with shipping and receiving functions, ensuring proper documentation and labelingPerform routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiencyMaintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standardsSupport warehouse management with materials handling tasks such as load & unload operations and order pickingUtilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues when necessaryFollow safety procedures diligently during heavy lifting and operation of construction-related machineryQualifications:Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related fields such as shipping & receivingMust have valid driver licenseStrong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and materials handling proceduresMechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting on heavy equipmentAbility to perform heavy lifting safely and efficientlyPrior experience in warehouse supervisor roles or order picker operations is a plusExcellent attention to detail for order picking and inventory managementPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive lifting taskswww.Atwork.Com/greeneville1017 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville TN423-###-####
