JOB TITLE Team Leader Support Services
SUMMARY:
Coordinates routine operational activities within the service assignment. Provides orientation and training for specific support staff.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: High School Diploma/GED required. Coursework in general office skills and computer classes preferred.
Licensure: N/A
Certification: N/A
Experience: Experience in medical office setting preferred.
Knowledge/Skills: Verbal/written communication skills. Knowledge of office equipment and basic office procedures. Skilled in use of all major computer applications. Punctual with consistent/reliable attendance history.
EQUIPMENT: Computer, fax, copier and any other equipment required to perform the functions of the position.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Facilitate the flow of information among team members.
2. Provide leadership and coordinate the workflow in assigned positions.
3. Provide temporary coverage to ensure each location staffing needs are met.
4. Review work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established Administrative Services Policy and Procedures.
5. Ensure that all consumer records are prepared and maintained in an accurate, current, and complete manner as required by licensure code, funding source, and Frontier Health's Policy and Procedures.
6. Maintain consistent and ongoing contact with Administrative Coordinator and Division Director.
7. Record and inform Administrative Coordinator and Division Director of any and all workflow issues that occur.
8. Train, coach and mentor support staff in their specialized area of office procedures.
9. Communicate with professional and clinical teams within the location concerning consumers.
10. Process location specific reports on a routine basis.
11. Performs other administrative duties such as locking/unlocking doors, typing, filing, faxing and collecting documents to be shredded, etc.
12. Maintains strict confidentiality of all knowledge gained through contact with consumers.
13. Attends and participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings and in-services and individual program planning staffing meetings, as needed.
14. All other duties as assigned.
