Staffmark is seeking a Press Assistant Operator to join a premier manufacturing company in Piney Flats. This is a great opportunity to start a career in the light industrial and manufacturing field , with training provided and the potential to grow into a permanent role.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
• Shift: Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekend work may be required

As a Press Assistant Operator, you will:

• Handle and maintain inks during production runs and on-the-job changes
• Learn the chemistry of inks and how they are applied in the printing process
• Load and unload rolls on the unwind and rewind machines
• Record and perform measurements as needed
• Interpret and follow Production Work Instructions and Control Folders
• Understand viscosity and pH levels
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read and understand print specification documents and follow written instructions
• Proficient computer skills and data entry
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
