Job Summary:

Electro-Mechanical, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated Human Resources Administrator to support our HR department in executing various human resources programs and procedures for all designated divisions.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Understand and adhere to procedures and instructions, both written and verbal.

  • Professionally manage incoming calls and inquiries, ensuring timely resolution or appropriate direction.

  • Maintain the Human Resource Information System and personnel records (including I-9 files), ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Accurately gather, review, and provide weekly payroll information to the Payroll Manager for timely processing.

  • Support recruitment efforts by processing applications, collaborating with staffing agencies, coordinating screenings, and conducting reference checks.

  • Facilitate new hire orientations, benefit sign-ups, and assist with onboarding processes.

  • Enhance employee engagement through effective communication and support for recognition programs, events, and surveys.

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including recordkeeping, leave administration (FMLA/ADA), and required postings.

  • Maintain metrics and dashboards for HR-related data (e.g., retention, turnover, training completion) to aid continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Provide administrative support for performance management and employee relations documentation under the guidance of the HR Manager.

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding on digital HR platforms, ensuring smooth processes for all employees, both in-person and remote.

  • Uphold confidentiality of employee information and adhere to data security best practices, particularly in digital HR systems.

  • Generate reports as needed (monthly, quarterly, annual) to meet HR and corporate requirements.

  • Be involved in safety and quality initiatives, supporting HR's role in company-wide compliance programs.

  • Present at employee Job Talks, discussing topics such as safety focus, new initiatives, upcoming events, policy updates, and other organizational communications.

What You Bring:

  • Two (2) years of experience in a related field and an Associate Degree in Business or Human Resource Administration, or an appropriate combination of education, training, skills, and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).

  • Experience with HRIS/HR software (e.g., ADP, Paycom, or similar).

  • Familiarity with electronic onboarding and payroll systems.

  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive information.

  • Comfortable presenting information in group settings with clear, professional communication.
