Paint Associate Days

The Paint Associate is focused on ensuring material is properly set up for a coat of paint and reports to the Paint Department Manager. This role is perfect for an individual who has attention to detail. A vital member of the Paint Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• This position is responsible for racking and unracking unpainted and painted aluminum extrusion onto our paint line and painting aluminum extrusions.
• Also responsible for quality inspection of the material.

What we're looking for:

• Read written instructions and follow verbal instructions
• Basic computer skills
• Be able to multitask, prioritize, and work under time constraints. Available to work 12-hour rotating shifts, 6 AM-6 PM, with periods of required overtime for full-time employees.

Physical requirements:

• Stand and walk for an entire shift on concrete, up to 12 hours
• Twist, bend, and kneel
• Lift, push, pull, or move up to 75lbs individually or 150lbs with a partner
• Grasp metal and turn hooks and clamps by hand
• Lift aluminum extrusions overhead and at head level individually and with a partner
• Requires constant reaching, handling, and grasping while turning of the upper body while moving and lifting
