Job Details

Perform inspection of contractors operations on a variety of transportation projects including roadway and bridge construction to verify conformance to plans and specifications. Performs routine material testing. Measure and track quantities of pay items. Gathers and maintains record documents including material certifications, testing reports, and inspectors daily diaries. Perform other related duties as assigned. Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities. Perform other related duties as assigned Required Skills. Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening. Must successfully complete and pass JMT's drug screening process, thereafter subject to random and for cause drug and alcohol testing. Required Experience. Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Survey Technology, or a related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution; or two years equivalent CEI experience.
