The academic advisor in the College of Business and Technology assists current and prospective undergraduate students in setting and achieving major and career goals. Responsible to the Assistant Dean for Student Success in the College of Business and Technology, the advisor works as a member of the Colleges advising, recruitment, and retention team. The academic advisor works closely with college departments and university offices to support students in understanding and completing program and graduation requirements. The academic advisor assists students in selecting majors, exploring career goals, and creating and following a degree plan. The academic advisor identifies and supports at-risk students, connecting them to various campus resources.
