What Youll Do:



  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring they are well?trained, motivated, and equipped to perform their duties effectively.

  • Resident Satisfaction: Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere for residents by addressing their maintenance concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Taking Care of Business: Plan, schedule, and oversee all maintenance and repair activities within the facility, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.

  • Money Matters: Keep an eye on the cash flow by handling the maintenance budgetestimate costs, track expenses, and find ways to save.

  • Emergency Hero: Be our hero during tough times. Develop plans to handle emergencies such as power outages or extreme weather.


What You Bring:



  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree or certification in facilities management, engineering, or a related field is a bonus.

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance. Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to facility maintenance.

  • Experience: Minimum of one year in facility maintenancepreferably long?term care, hospital, or senior living experience.

  • Positive Attitude: Maintain an optimistic and uplifting demeanor even in challenging situations, fostering a harmonious work environment, enhancing resident well?being, and promoting effective teamwork within a senior citizen care facility.


Working Conditions:


A Maintenance Director at Dominion Senior Living is expected to handle maintenance and repairs needed around the community. This role may involve physical demands, collaboration with various teams, adherence to safety protocols, multitasking, and interacting with residents and their families.


Physical Demands:
