V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Data Governance position for our premier client in Nashville, Tennessee.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a similar field required.
• 3+ years of experience implementing data governance in a business environment.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in data management and data governance roles required.
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Tooling Support & Adoption

• Provide operational support for governance tools, including issue resolution, user onboarding, and documentation updates.
• Track tool adoption and provide feedback to improve user experience and effectiveness.
• Support evaluation, implementation, and integration of metadata management and governance tools with enterprise data platforms.
• Research, analyze, and recommend tools to support data governance needs.

Data Catalog & Metadata Management

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create articles for the Data Glossary.
• Enhance catalog usability and adoption based on stakeholder feedback.
• Develop training materials, user guides, and best practices documentation.
• Maintain the enterprise data catalog, ensuring proper documentation, classification, and maintenance of data assets.
• Monitor catalog adoption and implement strategies to improve utilization.
