Job Summary

This position reports to the Dean of the College of Business and Technology and serves as the primary point of contact for the Office of the Dean. The position relieves the Dean of operational and administrative details and performs administrative functions that require a thorough knowledge of college and university policies, procedures, and operations and an understand of the college's role within the community. The position consistently promotes a positive image of the college by greeting and receiving faculty staff, students, and external constituents to the office; understands, accepts, and supports the institution's academic values and the mission of the college and university.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of and strong command of the MS Office Suite (Word Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe products, and willingness to learn and utilize new technology as it develops.
  • Knowledge and understanding of college and university policies and procedures and electronic platforms for work accomplishment.
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute required work activities in a busy work environment including handling multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a higher education office setting
