Job Description:
Summary:
The BMET III will provide maintenance and technical support function for medical and scientific instrumentation and for the users of this instrumentation by troubleshooting, testing and repairing biomedical equipment in order to ensure a high level of safe patient care. This individual weill perform supervisory functions of assigned technicians. Additionally, this individual will coordinate major equipment installations and assists in preplanning and device evaluations. The Tech will serve as lead technician for assigned facility.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Electronic or Biomedical Technology required with fifteen or more years of related experience. Or, Bachelor's degree in biomedical technology and five or more years of related experience preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid and active Biomedical Equipment Technician certification required
