TurnerIndustries Group has an opening for AWP Managerposition in Kingsport, TN.This position will work with our Construction and Project Planning team. The ideal candidate will:

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Ensure each Installation Work Package, (IWP) is fully completed using the Construction Contractor's templates utilizing Work Package Server Software
  • To collaboratively work with the respective discipline Superintendents and/or General Foremen to get their input and "buy-in" of the final product before it is issued to the field
  • Complete mandatory training to ensure they completely understand their key role in the implementation of Advanced Work Planning, (AWP)
  • Monitor Engineer Work Package, (EWP) and Procurement Work Package, (PWP) discrimination schedule
  • Generate IWPs in Work Package Server Software
  • Input and Update PWPs in Work Package Server Software
  • Clear constraints for all IWPs
  • Manage IWP distribution, takebacks, preclearing and redistribution when applicable
  • Confirm IWP progress

Specific pre-employment work experience required and/or for this job:

  • Experience working as a craft journeyman or foreman in industrial construction or maintenance turnarounds is preferred
  • Computer literacy required - MS Office Applications, QuickPlan, PCS

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
