PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform venipuncture, arterial, and capillary punctures on patients.
* Conduct designated laboratory testing.
* Assist in donor care before, during, and after donation.
* Instruct patients on urine collection procedures and accurately label specimens.
* Clean/Sterilize equipment, instruments, and work area.
* Inventory supplies and place orders when necessary.
* Enter patient data timely and efficient.
* Follow organizational, departmental, and governmental policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Graduation from an accredited phlebotomy diploma program.
EXPERIENCE:
One year of phlebotomist experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
* Phlebotomy Certification
