East Tennessee State Universitys Center for Excellence in Early Childhood is seeking a Specialist to support key initiatives and services within the TECTA program. This position is responsible to the Program Coordinator for coordinating all aspects of TECTA Orientations; collaborating with community colleges to support students in the CDA Prep and Early Childhood degree programs; serving as a CDA mentor and advisor for students seeking the CDA credential; overseeing and entering all data into the TECTA web-based system to ensure proper contract execution; and participating regularly in staff meetings, quarterly state management meetings, advisory board meetings, and early childhood partner meetings to maintain strong relationships in the field. The Specialist also collaborates with co-workers to ensure both contract requirements and the needs of early childhood providers and students are met, and performs other related duties as assigned.
