Today, Bell is shaping the future of aviation through specialized engineering, and we want you to be part of it.The Project Engineer Specialist will lead product management for new product design and integration, improve existing products, and provide engineering support for aircraft completions and parts manufacturing.What you'll be doing as a Project Engineer Specialist Manage new product development and related projects to meet business goals, ensuring project performance within budget and schedule.Oversee projects through the full stage-gate development cycle, adhering to best practices for optimal results.Lead cross-functional project teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.Manage product development through manufacturing start-up, including tooling and process development, leading to a smooth transition to production.Coordinate with various internal groups, report on project status, and conduct gate reviews.Communicate with customers to determine product requirements and translate them into statements of work for engineering teams.Design new products or improve existing ones for systems, parts of STC kits, and customized completions.Follow technical specifications to prepare drawings and assist in design drafting.Maintain familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in drafting and aeronautics.Work under general supervision, using experience, judgment, and guidelines to perform tasks.Lead minor and major projects as needed.Skills You Bring To This Role Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.Flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities.What you need to be successful Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.Minimum of 5 years of mechanical or engineering experience.Advanced experience with AutoCAD, CATIA, Inventor, or similar software.Preferred Experience Experience in aviation or rotorcraft fields.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements Ability to sit and/or stand for the duration of shifts.Proficiency with computers, including keyboard, mouse, and relevant software.What we offer you in return 80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO)120 hours of Vacation time12-13 paid holidays annually6 weeks parental leaveOn-site Bell Piney Flats fitness center (for employees)Access to Employee Resource GroupsAnd much moreJoin us to make your mark on the future of aviation.
