We offer Competitive Salary and full Benefits Package.We offer Flexible paid time off as needed, with the understanding that work requirements are being met and it does not impact the workload of others that depend on you.SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTIONS In this role you will use electrical, mechanical, chemical and/or computer engineering principles to provide a holistic design of instrumentation and control (I&C) systems for simultaneous projects spanning multiple customers. Design shall include but not be limited to the following subsystems/aspects of an I&C project – field instrumentation, control panels, loop drawings, camera and security subsystems and networking.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Field Instrumentation Makes field instrumentation selections based on the following: (a) what was quoted in our scope letter, (b) the requirements as defined in the Contract Documents, (c) any standardized products currently in use at the facility, and (d) the project budget.Interprets the Contract Documents to determine installation requirements and appropriate mounting hardware, sunshields, surge protection, etc.Generates a Field Instrumentation Submittal for review and approval by Engineer and Owner on project.Responds to and follows-up on submittal comments.Designs panel hardware drawings for Inframark provided control and network panels based on the following: (a) what was quoted in our scope letter, (b) the requirements as defined in the Contract Documents, (c) any standardized products currently in use at the facility, and (d) the project budget.Loop Drawings Designs loop drawings per the requirements of the Contract Documents.Generates a Loop Drawings Submittal for review and approval by Engineer and Owner on project.Camera & Security Subsystem Design Selects camera and security system hardware based on the following: (a) what was quoted in our scope letter, (b) the requirements as defined in the Contract Documents, (c) any standardized products currently in use at the facility, and (d) the project budget.Generates a Camera & Security Subsystem Submittal for review and approval by Engineer and Owner on project.Network Design Works with Inframark's IT personnel, design SCADA/PLC control systems networks based on the following: (a) networking best practices, (b) what was quoted in our scope letter and (c) the requirements as defined in the Contract Documents.Generates Fiber, Network and SCADA Hardware/Software submittals for review and approval by Engineer and Owner on project.Record Documents Supervises the creation of “As-installed for Record” documentation for Panel Drawings, Loop Drawings and Network Diagrams.Leads effort to develop Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Computer Engineering is preferred. Must have Control Panel experience, designing control systems with the focus on control panels based on contract documents (P&IDs).Experience with field instrumentation hardware, control panel design and hardware and networking design and hardware.Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of AutoCAD (preferred, but not required).PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to orally communicate effectively with customers, management, and other co-workers.Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication.Sitting for extended periods is common.No heavy lifting is expected. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, printers, scanners, and copiers.WORK ENVIRONMENT The job is largely performed at one of Inframark's offices with occasional or periodic jobsite visits.TRAVEL Estimated at 20% travel.
