Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking a Nuclear Market Strategy Leader-Business Line Manager to spearhead our efforts in the DOE, commercial nuclear and small modular reactor (SMR) markets. In this high-impact role, you will lead the development of a comprehensive market strategy and business plan, identifying key opportunities, building relationships with clients and partners, and guiding Kiewit's approach to bidding, proposals, and contract negotiations.

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is a full-service engineering, project management, and construction provider operating across North America. Our rapidly growing nuclear solutions business has opened new locations across North America to strengthen our market presence while executing work within the communities we live within and support.

Responsibilities

  • Market Strategy Development: Lead the creation of a robust market strategy, analyzing market data to identify trends, potential opportunities, and risks.
  • Business Development Leadership: Manage a team of business development professionals, ensuring coordinated efforts across client engagement, proposal generation, and partnership development.
  • Client & Partner Engagement: Serve as the key point of contact for client decision-makers, OEMs, and third-party engineering partners.
  • Proposal Management: Oversee all proposals in your market segment, ensuring the content aligns with Kiewit's goals.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients, OEMs, and engineering partners.
  • Resource Allocation & Budget Management: Take ownership of the proposal budget and resource utilization.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field, with 15+ years of progressively complex experience in managing business development activities.
  • Experience: A proven track record in developing new business in the nuclear industry.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel as necessary to meet client demands.
  • Citizenship: Must be a sole U.S. citizen to comply with security and regulatory requirements.
