JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Director provides leadership, direction, and supervision to ensure best practices and high standards in animal care and community care at Petworks Animal Services. The Operations Director also strives to consistently meet or exceed the goals of Petworks Animal Services as set forth by the executive director along with the Board of Directors.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to the Executive Director. Works closely with the behavior and welfare manager, veterinarians, local and regional animal welfare organizations, and transfer partner agencies. Provides direct supervision to the customer service staff, animal care staff, and volunteers. Participates in the implementation of vendor contracts related to facility care and maintenance. Represents Petworks on local and regional coalitions as assigned or approved by the Executive Director.
